Powerboost Motivation for Doctoral Candidates

Is this you?

You’ve made thoughtful plans and organised your thesis work, but when morning comes, getting started feels like a huge hurdle?

You’re struggling to start because, deep down, it feels like no one’s really paying attention to your progress?

Somehow, there’s always something getting in the way—emails, colleagues, conferences, coffee chats… the list goes on.

Through my Powerboost Motivation course, in just two weeks I’ll help you to break free from delaying your work and making immediate progress with your thesis — so you not only sit down to work, but learn a simple yet effective method to start working with plan and motivation — during the course and beyond.

How we will get there:

1

Challenge common misbeliefs regarding your doctorate and take a moment to reflect on your own habits and patterns.

2

I will teach you my unique and well-tested R.I.S.E. method that will give you clarity, commitment, and the drive to execute your work.

3

Clarify your priorities and reconnect with your motivation. Reflect on your long-term vision, and define the goals that will guide your daily actions.

4

We’re here to help you make real progress on your thesis—together! You’ll be paired with a fellow participant for a brief daily check-in to share your goals and celebrate your achievements. This way, you’ll stay accountable while respecting both your own time and that of others

Goal:

By the end of the course, you will have the tools to start working punctually and reconnect deeply with your inner drive and motivation. You’ll feel confident and positive about your thesis-writing process, having made significant progress by committing to the R.I.S.E. method and dedicating at least 50 focused minutes each day to your work on your thesis.

The next Powerboost Motivation course will run in the first quarter of 2026. Please sign up for my newsletter to be the first to hear about it.

"No matter how you feel towards your progress in the PhD right now, the Powerboost Motivation course will show you that you will achieve it. It gives you various tools to tackle your personal obstacles and overcome difficult situations. Your thesis will progress during the course but the benefit will be long-lasting and for the whole PhD-life."
